Who we are
PST Digital is a trading name of Jamie Healey, sole trader ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: hello@pstdigital.co.uk. Postal address: see Business details.
What information we use
- Business contact details — business name, trading address, business phone number, business email address and website.
- Public information about your business — the services you offer, the areas you cover, and what's on your website or public listings. We use this to build website previews.
- What you send us — emails, photos, logos and details you give us, and payment records if you become a customer.
We focus on business information. Where a business contact detail identifies a person (for example a named email address), we treat it as personal information.
Where we get it
If we contacted you first, we got your business details from public sources: Companies House, your business website, and public business directories and listings. Otherwise, you gave them to us.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To contact businesses about our services — our legitimate interest in telling businesses about a service that may be useful to them. We only email limited companies and similar organisations unless you've asked to hear from us, we always say who we are, and every message tells you how to opt out.
- To build a website preview for your business — the same legitimate interest. Previews aren't listed on search engines and are removed within 30 days if you're not interested, or straight away if you ask.
- To provide our services if you become a customer — to perform our contract with you.
- To keep financial records — to meet our legal obligations.
How long we keep it
- Prospects who don't become customers: deleted within 6 months of our last contact.
- If you ask us not to contact you, we keep the minimum needed (your business name and email address) on a "do not contact" list so we can respect that.
- Customers: for as long as we work together, then as long as required for tax and accounting records (normally 6 years).
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run the business: our email provider (Google Workspace), our website hosting provider, and — if you pay us — our payment provider. They only process information on our instructions. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where they do, they use legally recognised safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. You can object to us contacting you at any time — reply "stop" to any email or email hello@pstdigital.co.uk and we'll stop.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
